Associate of Science, concentration in Computer Science

This Associate of Science degree prepares students for entry-level positions as software developers.  The program instills students with fundamental concepts and provides them with hands-on experience developing software applications.  Students will be able to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the computer industry.

The major also provides a foundation for transfer into a 4-year computer science program.  The program includes courses form the field of study curriculum for computer science that has been approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
