Associate of Arts, concentration in Kinesiology

Return to: Programs and Courses - Science & Kinesiology The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Kinesiology will provide students with the course work necessary to transfer to a four-year institution to major in kinesiology or exercise science. This program will provide students with fundamental skills and knowledge needed to teach physical education in the school system or community, or to direct fitness and wellness programs in commercial and corporate settings.

Communications (10) Core - 2 courses (6 credit hours)
Mathematics (20) Core - 1 course (3 credit hours
Select 1 course from the Mathematics (20) Core
Recommend: **MATH 1314 or *MATH 1442 Natural Science (30) Core - 2 courses (8 credit hours)
Select 2 courses from the Natural Sciences (30) Core
Recommed: BIOL 2401 and BIOL 2402
or
BIOL 1406 and BIOL 1407 History (60) Core - 2 courses (6 credit hours)
Select 2 courses from the History (60) Core Additional Requirements (16 credit hours)
