Construction managers work in all phases of the construction business, e.g., public and private owners, small multi-family projects, industrial projects, and rural highways to major interstates. They keep the project on track and within budget by working closely with architects, engineers, owners, and the various contractors on a job. A graduate can go into estimating, field engineering, project scheduling, and other management levels - general or specialty contractor in the fields of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical.
