Cyber Defense, A.A.S. ♦

The Associate of Applied Science in Cyber Defense equips students the knowledge and hands-on skills to design, manage and secure zero trust networks. Students with this degree learn to use cyber defense tools to conduct threat and risk analysis, monitor network traffic for indicators of compromise, respond to network intrusions and gather evidence to be used in prosecuting cybercrime. Completion in this program prepares a student for industry certifications such as CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Linux+, FortiNet Network Security Expert (NSE4) and the CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+).

This Associate of Applied Science will prepare students to design, implement and secure computer networks. Students with this degree will be able to install security software, monitor networks for security breaches, respond to cyber attacks and in some cases, gather data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime.
