MATH 1414 - College Algebra (Precal Track)
Prerequisites: TSIA2: 950-990 or 910-949 and Diagnostic Level 6 or TSIA 350+ or MATH 0320 or enrollment in MATH 0214 or MATH 0314 In-depth study and applications of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations using matrices. Additional topics such as sequences, series, probability, and conics may be included.
This course fulfills the Mathematics foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, and Empirical Quantitative Skills.
