 The following is a guide designed for students planning to transfer to a university or for further study toward careers in fields such as education, actuarial science and statistics as well as careers in numerous other fields of science and engineering.  Based on the student’s placement level and high school background, the student may place out of MATH 1414 College Algebra, and MATH 2412 Precalculus.
