BMGT 1371 - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

This is a 40-hour contact hour course leveraged through discussion boards, assignments, reading, and quizzes. The program begins with foundational Lean and Six Sigma concepts, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). As the weeks progress, students apply tools like process mapping, root cause analysis, and statistical techniques to real-world scenarios. By the final weeks, participants work on a capstone project demonstrating their ability to identify inefficiencies, implement data-driven solutions, and sustain improvements, preparing them to lead improvement initiatives within their organizations. Finally, students will take the final exam, which is the certification exam through the Council of Six Sigma.
