ENGL 2333 - World Literature II: Neoclassical to the Present Prerequisites: ENGL 1301 or its equivalent with a “C” or better and ENGL 1302 or its equivalent with a “C” or better.
A survey of world literature from the seventeenth century to the present. Students will study works of prose, poetry, drama, and fiction in relation to their historical and cultural contexts. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions.

Periods include the United States-Mexico War Era, incorporation of Northern Mexico into the United States, Porfirian Mexico, and the nineteenth century American West, 1910 Mexican Revolution and Progressive Era, the Great Depression and New Deal, World War II and the Cold War, Civil Rights Era, Conservative Ascendancy, the age of NAFTA and turn of the 21st Century developments. This workshop-based course provides a review of reading and writing concepts and skills. INRW 0201 is a two-hour non-course, competency-based (NCBO) course linked to an ENGL 1301 course, essentially making up a 5 hour Freshman Composition I sequence. KINE 2136 - Yoga II Prerequisites: KINE 1136
This course is for students with Yoga I or equivalent experiences. It includes the philosophy and practice of various types of yoga and may include Hatha Yoga, Iyengar yoga, Bikram yoga, Kundalini yoga, yoga for conditioning and fitness and yoga as a way to enhance physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Additional concepts and techniques will build on those learned in Yoga I.
